You are in control of Arthur, a former investigator who worked on a team before but has arrived alone, following an enigmatic letter from a long-faded relative. What began as a simple visit turns into one man's descent through failed experiments and byproduct creatures, ultimately revealing the mind of the mansion's creator, Bertrand.
